WHAT TYPE OF INSURANCE DOES GENESCREEN ACCEPT?

IF GENESCREEN IS IN-NETWORK WITH MY INSURANCE CARRIER WHAT FEES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH MY VISIT?
For patients with in network benefits, patients pay the in-network specialist co-pay at the time of visit and GeneScreen bills the insurance carrier directly. If the patient has a deductible or co-insurance, they will be billed accordingly.
IF GENESCREEN IS OUT-OF-NETWORK WITH MY INSURANCE CARRIER WHAT FEES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH MY VISIT?
For patients with out of network benefits OR no insurance coverage out of pocket rates will be charged directly to the patient. As a courtesy, GeneScreen will bill the patient’s insurance so that our charges may be applied to their out of network yearly deductible. Any eligible insurance payments would be sent directly to the patient.

WHAT ARE THE FEES FOR PREVENTATIVE GENETIC COUNSELING?
Preventative care appointments are for pre and post-test genetic counseling in relation to cancer genetic testing. These appointments are billed directly to insurance and co-pays are not collected. You will be notified when you schedule your appointment whether your appointment qualifies as preventative genetic counseling.

HOW DOES GENESCREEN RECEIVE MY INFORMATION?
GeneScreen will e-mail you a patient portal link (patient online registration) and/ or you can click on the below webpage link to register all of your information. It is very important that you provide us with all information required (i.e. valid insurance information) so we can submit your GeneScreen consultation accurately.
